There is no known reason to believe that a normal number exists. A billion couple in the world all have different needs and while most may be happy, a lot are not. If there were a number or a mate is unreasonable about the frequency of sex, it causes undue stress, physical fatigue, and eventually unhappiness that is difficult to straighten out. Newly weds jump on each other a lot---like their whole life is sex--wait for two years--they will hardly doit at all--married life is tough--lots to do and lots to worry about...having sex gets put low on the priority list, so be cool, relax, take it easy, enjoy life with each other...smile and good luck

It would have to be in categories.
There are even categories in categories.
Sexual appetites differ widely.
the newly weds go from several times a day to once a day Etc. depending on appetites and accomodation. Some push more than they would like because they feel it's expected of them.
Married a year - from once or twice a day to once a week and every where in between.
Married with children, when ever they can when not tired.
Now we separate more vastly.
Those married years , some still make love every day and some not at all and everywhere in between.
This is truth.

It would depend on the couples situation, if they have children, it will be less than ones without children. Married with kids that can sleep through the night 1 or 2 times a week maybe more if they can sneak it in. Couples without children, it would depend on the stress level, but I don't see why it couldn't be at least three times a week.

The weekly 'average' for a married couple is 2-3 times. This is only average. You have to consider some people do it everyday and some people not at all....poor souls =) It's 30+ for us but we're special =)

i want to know if all these married ppl really are having sex that much b/c 100-150 is just ludicrous! i would say 15-20 we go at it every other night! that makes it easier on us, there is the occasional slip in but for the most part we're routine, although we do have 3 kids

That would depend on how old, what your schedules are like, do you have kids. When my wife and I first married it was 3-4 times per week. Then we had kids, harder jobs and lots more to do it dropped to 1-2 times per week. We are in our 50's now, I get up at 3:30a so I go to bed at 7p. We enjoy each others company about 2 times per month.

Parents been toghether for years and years, and I hear them having fun a couple of times a week, sometimes only once though. I guess though what is "normal" is up to each couple.
