Steven Spielburg is to politics like George Bush is to the movie industry.
In other words, no political power, nada, not in this lifetime, baby, naught, nope, ya gotta be kidding?
Why is it that we tend to make Hollywood Tinseltowners more than than what they are - Actors, Actresses, Producers, Screenwriters, etc. simply they are just what they are - no more than that. They are not bigger, the best, brighter, than others, more powerful, etc. than the average Joe or Jane, except in their own craft, that is.
BTW, it is NOT because he happens to be one of the Chosen People, either, like one of the previous answerers stated. If he does have a lot of political power because he IS a Jew, hey maybe it is about time that we Jews were #1 somewhere! I mean, for 1000's of years, we have been chased out of quite a few countries and maybe our time is here and now!
A Jewish President! President Steven Spielberg - hey, I LIKE the sound of that! Nothing wrong with the Tinseltown types in government - we had Ronnie as Prez, Arnie & Jesse as the Governors, Steve's got MY vote - both a Hollywood type AND a Chosen One!
