I like names like Edmundo, Samuel, and Jaime which are hispanic but have great nicknames like Teddy or Eddie and Sammy.
I think you should use a family name for the middle name -- did you did that for your daughters? They hve modern first names but classical middle names. You can always use the boy version of a girl name, like if your mother's name is Andrea, name your son Andrew.

My daughters name is Alexis I just love that name.
For a boy I just LOVE the name Brendon James. I also like the names Evan Andrew and Blake. I have a friend named Doyle (Dole) he spells it different. I also like the name Tucker or Hunter. Gavin and Cesar are not common names.
Hope this helps

For my son I used my grandfather's middle name and my husband's grandfather's first name, Chase Alexander, to honor them. Chase is also my great-grandmother's(my grandfathers mother) maiden name. So it is a family name for us that started out as a last name, went to a middle name and now is a first name. Look through your family tree on both sides and try to match up a first and middle to honor the men from both sides, it will give him something to be proud of!
