It is in the human nature to look whenever there is an accident at the place where this accident took place. We are curious and wnat to see if there are wounded or what happened. Therefore we slow down creating more traffic.
But it is also safer to slow down because whenever there are accidents, there also are people rescuing or coming to see and thus it would be dangerous to keep a high speed.

I don't drive now, but I know that I barely look at the accident when I'm in the car. Also, I probably will be too busy and in a hurry to slow down. Therefore, I probably won't do such a thing. It's bad enough that the accident itself is slowing everything.

Of course you should slow down, so that you move safely past the accident. Its for the protection of the people who are involved in the accident and are out of their cars,

yes you should for the safety of the responders that are on scene attemping to help others because if you would be driving too fast past an accident scene and hit one of responders you can be charged with assault on a public servant your best bet is to slow down but not so slow that you are rubber necking

Usually not. I had a bad experience passing an accident when I was a teen. The accident had just happened (police weren't yet on the scene) and there were a couple of people that had been thrown from their car. Not pretty.

Yes I do, not out of curiosity, but out of respect and caution. I do not know the extent of the accident and slow down in case something else unexpected may happen. It is common courtesy to slow down and exercise caution when approching an unknown situation.

Yes!!! It is a law where I live. Officers have been killed and hurt badly by getting struck by people NOT slowing down. It is the considerate thing to do and it is the right thing to do.

I get mad that other people do, therefor I make every effort to not slow down. It's rude and inconsiderate to all the other drivers on the road.

I try not to slow down because I find it completely annoying, however, I do admit to glancing as I drive past...
