I once lived in a cabin on a lake, and I invited a friend over many times to go fishing with me. One day (around dusk) I saw him coming down the hill toward the boathouse, so I hid inside the door next to the light switch, and scrunched myself against the wall as tight as I could. Our routine was that the first one to reach the boathouse would turn on the outside lights. As he opened the door and reached in (without entering the boathouse), and fumbled for the lightswitch,I couldn't resist just reaching out and touching his hand. I had no idea a man's voice could reach such a high octave in the form of a squeal. I also had know idea he could be as ticked off at me as he was--but it was sooooo funny.

I'm so bad, I do that all the time! Were buying a new house, and when my aunt came for a tour, I hid in a closet and scared the crap out of her. So funny though!!

o my gosh. I've done that a few times, but I stopped after I tried it at a family picnic from behind a tree and jumped out at some random teenage guy who looked strangely like my Cousin-to-be from afar. o dear. STUPIDEST THING TO DO.
EVER.
I pretty much barely got away with my life. Definitely didn't have any dignity left. i looked like an utter moron. lol live and learn i guess.
I think he took karate or something. I have never ever ever seen anybody start punching like that. holy crapola. I was scared silly!

Back when I was around 14 or 15, my surrogant mother and I went outisde to the barn to look for something. It was probably around 9:00 or 10:00 at night, so it was dark outside. We were inside the barn looking for whatever it was we were looking for and I happened to look up at the window and saw a pair of beady eyes staring in. It scared the absolute sh*t out of me and my surrogant mother. We screamed bloody murder. Go figure, it was her daughter (my friend) being goofy trying to scare the sh*t out of us. It worked. Too well....

Both! My neighbor use to like to scare me at night by jumping out of nowhere when I would get out of my car and Damn if he didn't get me alot of those times-but i decided to get him once, we owned the house he lived in next door to our house- so i went into his house and when he came home from work I was hiding behind a room divider curtain and he was dogtired from work so he plopped down on the couch and I waited til he was relaxed and then I jumped out AND right on top of him- the poor guy seriously wet his pants and I had to laugh and did so until I cried!! He thought I was crying because he got so scared but that wasn't it at all! THEN- he got even with my- my garage doors have hooks at the top you have to lift up in order to shut the doors and I had given my husband a ride to work at 2:00a.m and I pulled my car into the gargage and was reaching up to lift the hook and he reached over and grabbed my hand- I screamed so loud the neighbors all came running out- I thought I was really gonna die at the hands of some crazy person!!! We laugh about it all now and we quit doing that to one another but they were both scary for both of us!

yes, I love doing that to friends, to wait like a cat, and then pounce out of the darkness and scare them, it is a rush, and then we laugh after.
