Like, how should the cut and such things be?
I want it to be new but still old-ish, like a long back, no tight a-line(frame) hollywood type dresses.

Know what? It doesnt matter how old the dress looks. Hes going to think you are beautiful in anything, come on its your wedding day and he loves you. Youll look great in the dress thats right for you, if it comes down to it pick the one you look best in not the old looking one. I understand wanting to please him as far as your looks go, if youre sooo set on looks go to google and google "yyyy (year) wedding gowns". I hope youre wedding goes wonderfully, and relax will ya.

Just wear the dress that is right for you. Almost every wedding dress can be worn in any situation. The "oldness" of the wedding can be set by atmosphere, vow styles, etc. You'll know the right dress when you see it.
