Has anyone notice how girls tend to date/be attracted to older guys? What do you think makes this happen?
Could it be because guys brains develope (at an avg.) 2 years later than a girls, so therefore: if a girl dates a guy thats 2 yrs. older, physically that may be true but mentally he's about the same age.

I got this theory that guys brains develope slower (about 2 years) from Dr. Drew, guys vs. girls episode. They discused the differences that guys and girls have mentally.

I have noticed...all my boyfriends have been 3-7 years older than me. I can't date a guy my age because I think of them as kids because they act so immature.

Heh. I don't know about you, but I'd argue that men's brains develop about _ten_ years later than women's.
And, yes, I am attracted to men 6-10 years (and sometimes even more) older than I am.

We are just attracted to older guys because of the fact they are older. We think we are cooler for being with an older guy. Plus the guys our age we already know, and think they are immature.

Girls typically mature two to four years earlier than boys. The difference is particularly prominent in the teens, but levels out in the 20's.

i think it has a lot to do with the maturity level of girls. younger women are attracted you older men, because they seem like they are well grounded and more experienced with things, unlike immature boys.

Most girls get attracted to mentally matured men. They know what they want and are more focused in life.

That theory is definately not true.
It depends on each individual. Many women when they are around that 18-25 are really insecure and immature, and dont know what they want in life.
Everyone is different.

I think it's due to a good relationship with their fathers, and they go looking for the same thing in a boyfriend or husband who is older.
