Financial books are great for gaining an understanding of concepts, but they are not for the purpose of providing advice. Most books that are general enough to be geared to the public are just that; general. They are likely to give advice that may be good for most people, most of the time, but could be disastrous for you in your particular situation. Until that book knows you, it's not qualified to advise you.

Any Robert Kiyosaki books, and especially the newer one with him and Donald Trump. Excellent. Those are the people to mentor if you want to have some money.
