Yesterday, a few friends and I started talking about how old we look. I've gotten comments about "how pretty I am" (sorry if that sounds vain.) But when we started talking about how old we look, quite a few of my friends said I look like a 6th grader! I don't know why, but this comment was very offencive to me. Since i'm 15, I would like to look 15! Personaly, I would like to be mistaken for older than I am or the age I am, not younger than I am. I also find this comment akward because my friends have said that I'm really mature for my age. Any tips on how to look my age (15) or older?

OMMGG lol i have the same problem, everyone thinks im 13 or 14 and im realli 18 so i started to wear make up and i changed the way i dress, i mean i talk the same and everythin and everyone sayz im mature fo my age but i dnt think the makeup realli helps so gud luck
i would try simple things like changin ur hair or the way u dress b/c that can have a big influence on the age u 'luk'

I have had this problem all my life. I am 29 and have been told, recently, I look 19! You should just take it as a compliment because nowadays these young girls look like they are GROWN in their teens. They are developing a lot earlier nowadays, so just consider it a blessing and don't worry about looking older. Don't rush getting old.
However, I do understand you wanting to be like your friends. Try a little eye shadow (if your mom allows it----not much though) and lip gloss! Also try more mature hair styles. Other than that, don't change!!!!

my friend said the same thing and i was so mad i am almost 16 and i don't want to but my mom says that when i get to be like 30 i might look like I'm 20 so that could be a good thing but at least when you walked into your first class in Jr.high your teacher didn't say i think your in the wrong school the elementary is down the street

I can't tell without a pic it is good if you look younger because when you are old you can make fun of them 4 looking older!!!!!!!! lol

wellllllll im 16 and many tell me i look 17 wen i hav makeup and wen i dont then many tell me i look 14... so my answer is makeup BUT not too much, that wouldnt look good

make up but most immportantly, lots and lots of dark liquid eyeliner (not black) eyeshadow and lip gloss
