If this only happens while going around a turn than it is more than likely a problem with your cv joints. If it does it only while accelerating, not just out of a turn, but anytime, than it would most likely be a motor mount is loose or broken. But without actually seeing the car it would be impossible to tell, but any qualified mechanic would easily be able to pinpoint your problem quickly and tell you exactly what the problem is and how to remedy it.

Take it bake and have the car looked at againg and see if the strut mounts are alinged properly.

Have them check to see if everthing is tights and nothing is getting cought on the tie rods or the did not pop the wheel well gard loos and your tire could be hitting 1 of those guards.

The ball joints or ty-rods may also be bad. the struts must have been very bad for them to be knocking. it should have just made you car bottom out very easily not knock

Go back and have it checked,
It could be a bushing on the shock, a tie rod end or even a motor mount.

Replace your sway bar bushings, they have a minimal amount of play in them and are causing the noise your hearing.

that would be your CV Joints. they will knock if you turn but if you keep going like that they will blow and your car ain't going no where until the old CV joints are replaced.
