Summer has the longest days.
Northern hemisphere has summer in june.
Southern hemisphere has winter in june.
The temp at equator is around 28 - 31 degree celsius, though I am not sure if the range is bigger in actual fact.

The longest days are in the summer.

In meteorlogical terms June in the northern hemisphere is the beginning of summer. While in the southern hemisphere it is the beginning of winter.

The temperatures at the equator are fairly constant (very warm) - the seasons are mostly differentiated by wet/dry instead of warm/cold.
