All of them that describes what I am going through and how I feel and I am always hoping the person that broke my heart is listening to the same song and thinking the same thing.

I think something that cheers someone up.. Like"don't worry be happy". If i am sad i think that makes things worse. I think it all depends on why your heart is breaking? Boyfriend? I would listen to Seal "Don't Cry" That is a good song.

That would depend on the reason . If you are mourning a loved one , you might listen to some of their old favorites . If you are getting over a break-up ..and you want to dwell in your pain , you might listen to sad songs that remind you ..But if you are in the middle of a break-up and are determined to get over it , then you want happy music , like rock n' roll , or whatever makes you happy .

If you can stand folk music, I would recommend any one of Libby Roderick's albums...
How Could Anyone...
Thinking Like a Mountain
If You See a Dream
If the World Were My Lover
They certainly aren't love songs but they are thought provoking and bolster self esteem. Obscure, little known artist...my favorite for quiet, non-religious contemplation. Order her stuff from ebay if you like folk music. Go to ask.com and put in her name...she's a little known artist from Alaska...A matter of taste.
She's personally responsible for my healthy heart.

"Unbreak My Heart" by Toni Braxton. It reminds me of when my bf and I broke up about 5 years ago. Good news, we got back together and are still together!
Also a song called "Angel" bu Aretha Franklin. It's an oldie but take a listen to it sometime. It's beautifully heartbreaking and will bring tears to your eyes.

You'll Think of Me by Keith Urban
Whatever "our" song was
Don't you notice than when your heart is breaking, it seems as if *every* song has hidden meaning just for you?
Feel better. Aloha :)

I don't listen to music when my heart is breaking, I sob into my pillow for several hours. Then I feel much better.
