Force of habit. All wrestling gear is supposed to be skin tight so it can't be pulled. After a while anything too loose makes ya feel vulnerable.

Most wear a jockstrap or hard cup supporter while they are wrestling. And then I'd guess they wear briefs normally because they are used to the tightness and support.

I don't know but I think most of the wrestlers in my school wear jockstraps that are a couple sizes too small...they're always waddling around with these ugly sneers on their faces. I wanna go up and say "Whatsamatter, buddy, you look constipated" but that might not be too good for my health.

It seems like every time their trunks get pulled down on TV they're wearing a thong.

Jock-straps and breifs. Boxers would be hard to fit inside the suit and would bunch up more.

I'm pretty sure most don't where boxers. Because it would be harder to fight in.
