Hi there Wattie, I always try to treat others how I would wish to be treated. However, this does not always work because there are some who will abuse this. Sometimes we have to be assertive....that means being assertive without being rude. I also live my life from a psychological stance. That is to say, I do my best to be positive. I take the time to listen to people, even if they may bore me. I smile and make myself approachable. I try to be confident. If you have a confident and happy approach to life, it tends to 'rub off' on others. I play hard and work hard, have as much fun and laughs where ever I go. I believe that manners cost nothing. It takes more muscles to frown so why waste energy? 'My glass is half full not half empty'; and 'The people that matter don't mind, and the people that mind dont matter.'
All the best! :o)

Having a set code of morality doesn't make sense. Just make it up as you go along. If you have some concrete laws by which you live, you will only dissappoint yourself when you break them.

Good one. Not anymore. Maybe one day I'll get it back or get a new one. Of course I don't hurt anyone or anything like that, but other than that I would say I just...live and let live.

Respect others as they will respect you.
The most important aspect: get respect.

I'm not religious, but the golden rule is handy. I have broken it down to the basics, and have found it to be a good philosophy.
Broken down, it basically says:
BE NICE
