my girlfriend likes girls.

she says she only loves me though and wants to be with me, but she wants to have a girl on the side. she says its a mental thing about being with a girl that turns her on, but she says she could never have feelings for another girl...

anyway, she wants to have a girl on the side.

when i told her that's cool she can have one as long as i can have a girl on the side too, she said no. she does not want me to have a girl on the side, because she says it's the opposite sex. she said i could have a guy on the side. yea right!

She's obviously not ready for a monogamous relationship. If she's bisexual, that's fine, but that doesn't mean she gets to cheat on you (being with another person while you're in a relationship IS cheating, regardless of gender). I think you're options are:

1. Let her do it and you can just sit and be miserable about it.

2. End the relationship.

3. Tell her if she wants to have an open relationship, then she has no say in who you get to see.

4. Just tell her no, you're not comfortable with it. If she respects you, she'll understand.

Well that would work if you were attracted to men but you don't sound like you are. If she wants to have a sexual partner on the side regardless of gender you should be able to have the same regardless of gender also. Its just like cheating whether or not she likes two genders, and she can cheat then you should be able to also and if she doesn't like that idea then maybe you should just dump her and find a girl who can be faithful, I'm a gay man and i know that if i was dating a guy and he wanted to have a girl on the side i would be mad. So just see what she says when you tell her no.

She may say she only loves you and wants to be with you, but when she says she wants to have a girl on the side it means she doesn't want to be with you all the time. Her love is not 100%; if it were she would not want to be with another person. Your girlfriend want to have her cake and eat it too; she wants to do what she wants while still having you where she wants you to be. You cannot have a double standard in a relationship, and if your girlfriend is not willing to commit to being exclusive with you it may be time for you to find a girlfriend who is able and willing to do so.

Do not let her have a girl on the side. It will only cause problems in your relationship. If she truly loves you and wants to be with you then you are all she should need. She might be trying to hint that things are not so great in your guys relationship. Maybe you should try to spice up your sex life so she dosnet need a girl to turn her on.Basicaly if she loves you then she will respect your feelings.

No.

Her argument is "it's the opposite sex"? What does that have to do with it? Pretty weak IMO.

You could tell her having a girl on the site would be a lot more meaningful for you then a guy on the side.

i am bisexual and i have never felt the urge to have additional partners..

her offer is unacceptable. if she gets to have a 2nd sex partner, then you should too. same sex or opposite sex shouldn't matter..

bottom line, she doesn't want a monoagamous relationship with you, and if she expects you to be faithful then she should to.. don't give in to any unreasonable double standards..

but the bigger question. do you really want a girlfriend who sleeps with other people?? shouldn't sex be a special bond that you and your partner share with each other and nobody else??

Do not accept this. If he has a girl on the side, it's selfish to ask you to accept it and expect you to just share her and have nobody of your own on the side

It can be done having a guy on the side but there are other positions that are more satisfactory .

If you believe in monogamous relationships then you shouldn't accept this, regardless of her sexuality.
