...you are in your thirties (or older) and still single? Does it bother you or not?

While I am gay, it does bother me that people make assumptions based on my grooming habits, clothes, etc. I have straight male friends that do the same thing and they get people making the same assumption about them... which we find to be humorous to some degree, but at the same time I wonder why people can't be more willing to accept people differences and why they feel compelled to make assumptions based on stereotypes... so yeah, it does bother me some.

Where I live, everybody gets married really young.
They always say, when they find out that I'm single, "so you divorced? Or you gay?"
I was in an accident that put me in a coma for a while when I was 22. I had to learn to walk and talk, didn't finish college until I was 30. I've had to work hard, harder than you can imagine, at getting my life back together and prepare to be married and have a family. Women don't seem to be digging me like they did before I was hurt.
I'm afraid that if I were really successful and rich, or really athletic and built, girls would want me, but I'm only a work in progress. I'm good looking, I'm talented and really easy to get along with. I wish knew what it was that kept the women away from me.

I got married at 26 so I don't have any 1st hand experience. However I have had 4 or 5 friends who had brothers in their 30's that were still single. They were all gay...or at least they claimed to be.

If you're 30 and single that just means your particular and discerning about who you wish to be with for the rest of your life.
