Yes, if you feel that the child is in danger, than contact CPS and report the household. If CPS feels that the home is a danger to the child, they will remove the child.

If the child is removed, CPS will make every effort to place the child with a family member. If that is not possible, they will then place the child in foster care.

However, the rules concerning foster parents are continually becoming more stringent. You must be an "authorized" foster parent in order for the courts to place a child with you. That means that you must fill out an application and then the state will run background checks, etc., to determine if you are eligible to become a foster parent.

"How do I become a foster parent?

You can call AdoptUsKids at 1-888-200-4005 or request to be contacted by a team in your state or territory that can help you find a local agency. The foster parent licensing process is often similar to or the same as the process to become licensed to adopt. It requires preparation classes as well as an application process. The application varies but may include: a minimum age, verification that your income allows you to meet your expenses, a criminal record check at local, state and federal levels including finger printing and no prior record of child abuse or neglect; a reference from a doctor to ensure that all household members are free from diseases that a child could catch and in sufficient health to parent a child and; letters of reference from an employer and others who know you."

Lets try to apply the present law, child is filthy as a result of child abandonment; that is, at least near to the right cause of action. It is important to call the attention of social services to assess and decide on the matter involving the condition of the child.

I suggest call your local social services to check on the child and they would ask you some questions so it is important that you take note of the time and place where you have seen the child and whose with the child. It is better to get a video so they could be easily convince of such condition. Sometimes they are not that prompt unless it is so severe or worst situation like physical harm or the likes.

You cannot be a foster parent of that child since there is a conflict of interest by reporting the incident it may lead to a certain issues or personal interest (can be avoided). There is a list of authorize fostering home and individual who want to adopt you have to apply for it. After you apply if you want the certain child which you claim to be personally known to you then it can be settle in proper court for a petition.

I know here in Michigan a child can be removed if the home is filthy. I've seen homes where there was trash all over the place, bugs (roachs, ants) rats, feces from animals, dirty dishes everywhere. Once so much accumulates, it can spread disease.

If you can become a foster parent to the child(ren), I'm not to sure, you'd have to check with your local family services.

Good luck and God Bless.

Yes. Unsafe living conditions like feces around the house and rotten food or too many dirty animals. Call CPS if you know of any child living in a house that is questionable they will check it out and deal with it. Better safe than sorry. Do it for the child's sake.

Yes a child can be removed from a filthy home (and rightfully so) report such conditions to your local CPS office. You can become the foster parent however it is NOT automatic there is a procedure that must be followed first.

if this is filthy, sure. i used to be an MP and had to flow to a bad abode. you may desire to scent the abode from the exterior, you couldnt see the floor, it became lined in trash, grimy clothing, and cat poop. all the tables and counter tops have been lined with grimy dishes, curdled milk, there have been knats flying everywhere. the tub had grimy water and cigarrette butts in it. the little ones have been grimy, they didnt have any sparkling clothing, and there became mildew on the carpet. CPS might have taken the little ones away in the event that they werent in Germany, yet in view that they have been (they have been American young little ones) they attempt to keep away from taking young little ones away by way of fact they'll flow into the German device. you may checklist it by utilising calling the interior of sight police station, (no longer 911) they'll touch the right government.

Yes. They can be removed and the house can even be condemned. It must be declared unfit for human habitation. I think you'd have to petition the courts to became the foster parent, but I don't know.
