Unfortunately it is normal. And it does suck. If you find it to be really difficult to manage talk to your gyno. about it to see if there is something you can take during that time of the month to make it easier on you as well as those around you. LOL....

Yea, it's normal. I get like that almost every month. Just try to remember, you will feel differently in a few days. Don't react to much to things during that time. Try to do things that make you feel calm & happy & stay away (if you can) from things that you know will upset you. You get kind of use to it after awhile. But it is pretty normal for most girls so don't worry about it.

hi there, well look every girl is different when it comes to getting their period, you have to learn how to recognize when your period is comming, for example, maybe your breasts hurt, or you are desperate for eating chocolates, or you eat a lot, or you get really tired, you get angry or want to cry without knowing why, you have back pain or cramps, all i can tell you is to be patient, it is only for a couple of days, you can ask your mom if you have cramps or something and remember that eating well and doing regular excercise even if it's walking 20 minutes a day will help you for not having cramps and being regular. good luck!

It is normal, but don't use it to get your way in life. Get up and move around, unless you have chronic cramps, activity is good. And sometimes, treat yourself to a good book and comfort.I was always aware of where I was in my cycle and sometimes just being able to tell yourself that you are close to your next period helps you to understand some of what you are feeling.

yes its normal. trust me I live with my wife and my 14 year old daughter and have learned alot about periods and stuff. your hormones are all messed up during your period and this causes mood swings and all that stuff. not to worry ok? maybe ask your mom for some ibuprofin.share your feelings with your peers

Yeah, from what I have seen in my years is that "that time of the month" affect different women in a variety of ways....and why not? While it is a natural occurrence....it messes up a lot of things, doesn't it? Hang in there. You will make it.
Good luck. Pops
