I was wondering how a person gets scored on a CDL pre trip test and the actual driving test for a Class A license. I am going for my license in a few weeks and I was wondering if it was like my drivers license where I had 25 points or if it is scored differently. I am from Wisconsin, United States, I don't know if that makes a difference or not but I thought I would add that. thanks.

you have points 19/23 to lose/ fail
but first you have to pass the air brakes test (thats a go/no go test)
after that you go on to the road test (stay calm and check your mirrors often)

Every State has their own test when it come to issuing a drivers license. The written test may vary from 25 to 200 questions depending on the State and the actual driving test may have any number of specific items they are checking. You best bet is to contact the licensing agency and ask them.
