Mike Vick for sure! Everyone always says how great of a talent he is but he blows games all the time with interceptions. He is fast, but he is better off getting traded or playing running back.

I would go with Vick but he is a running back that throws the ball every now and then.
Donovan McNabb is clearly one of the more overrated players in the league. His team actually got better when he was injured for the season. Romo was also clearly overrated as well, when it came crunch time, he choked.
I loved listening to the announcers talk about the great Rex Grossman before the Super Bowl. I just had to think to myself: is this the same guy that turned the ball over five times to the defensive powerhouse Arizona Cardinals or managed a 1.4 QB rating against the stingy (32nd in the NFL) Vikings pass defense. Grossman is also overrated.
Steve McNair, the supposed offensive savior of the Ravens turned out to be a dud. They are lucky they have a great defense. Big Ben showed he was human, could have just been a bad season for him, we will have to wait and see.
So if I had to rank the top five overrated:
1. Donovan Mc Nabb- Eagles
2. Tony Romo - Cowboys
3. Rex Grossman - Bears
4. Steve Mc Nair - Ravens
5. Ben Rothlisberger - Steelers
Honorable mention: Mike Vick - RB/QB - Falcons

The most overrated QB ever was probably Ryan Leaf.
If you're talking current NFL starters, then it's a tossup between Vick and Eli (although both have been taking their shots in the media.)

i'd have to say michael vick. He has lost his superhuman skills after recovering the injury. In addition, he's an ageing starter and still has a few years left in him. The falcons should turn to backup QB schaub or draft a rookie QB. Troy Smith perhaps?
The most overrated newcomes gots to be JaMarcus Russel.

Both Mannings are completely overrated. Peyton's put up decent numbers, but pressure him and he becomes pedestrian at best. Eli forced a draft day trade and has never lived up to expectations. The Giants fell for the Manning mystique and will pat the price now that Tiki Barber has retired. Do not believe the media hype when it comes to the Mannings, that includes Archie. I bet that the Chargers are thankful that dad did Eli to play for them.

Although Vick is the popular answer, and I really want to say him, I'll go with Big Ben. He's got a great D and the steelers are a running team. He is just there to manage the game (which he doesn't even do great all the time) and shouldn't get the amount of credit he does.
to the guy who said McNabb ---he only lost ~56% of his own fumbles (which only totaled 57 for 104 games ---sadly Daunte Culpepper has almost a fumble per game) and actually has the 2nd best % of attempts INTed for his career (as in, of all QBs ever, his % of passes INTed is the 2nd lowest -----highest of course for current players).

I have to agree with Vick. Everyone in the sports media thinks he's the next generation for where quarterbacking is going to. But they forget that he's a lousy quarterback. Sure he's the greatest running q-back the league has ever seen, but he's dumb, doesn't throw an accurate ball, doesn' see the field well, and has a tendancy to fumble when he gets hit. He also appears to be selfish and not a leader. Ben Terdburger would my next most overrated.

It's gotta be Eli Manning he hasn't done sh*t for the Giants, and for those who think Vick is overrated well you guys are dead WRONG atleast Mike Vick has gone to 3 pro bowls and trust me if he had the right recievers he would be way better it's not all his fault i remember watching Michael Jenkins dropping a wide open pass and I mean WIDE OPEN PASS everyone could have caught that pass.

I am going to have to say Eli Manning, only because Peyton had a decent game in the Super Bowl, but Peyton is surely a close second.
