Are you having regular menstrual cycles? Are you ovulating? Those are the first two questions I think, to answer. Are you having insulin issues, or is your blood sugar under control? Are you in otherwise good health-eating well, exercising, getting enough sleep, etc.
If you're ovulating regularly, and your blood sugar is well controlled, and you're in otherwise good health, the keys to conception are the same as for everyone else- see your health care provider for a pre-conception visit, have sex regularly, especially around ovulation, don't drink, smoke or use other drugs, eat a healthy diet, exercise, get plenty of rest and don't stress about it. However, with a diagnosed fertility issue like PCOS, you may want to consult your doctor or health care provider for assistance or intervention earlier in the process than is usually recommended. Your provider will tell you this at your pre-conception visit.
If you're not ovulating regularly, then you need to see your health care provider to decide on a course of treatment-commonly this is some combination of metformin and clomid, but that will vary according to your health and your health care provider.

The best course to take is to consult with a gynecologist or a fertility specialist. PCOS requires some medical treatment, not just to treat the syndrome but also for those trying to conceive.
I have PCOS and i have to take medication to regulate my monthly period. Trying to conceive is another matter so it's really best to consult the experts.

A friend used Clomid. She is a fan of the bulletin board on BabyCenter regarding PCOS and conception.
