ok, so i heard slipknot broke up, which is pretty much verified, but are they just taking a break? Which is REALLY bugging me since they're my FAVORITE band ever alive (or dead). please help moi.

I just thought they were taking a break (i.e. some members are working on side projects right now, like Stone Sour).
I don't know if Soul Fly is still around, but that's another side project.
I think they never officially announced a breakup.
