Alarm clock that has your favorite radio station or cd playing when it's time to get up. Coffee maker already brewing the coffee. So when you get out of bed you can have your cup of coffee right away.

I think the best way is naturally, without an alarm, after you've had all the sleep you need. However, if you have to get up at a certain time for work, you need an alarm clock. I found that a clock radio set to high volume, in the next room, will wake me but not as obnoxiously as a loud buzzer alarm. If it's in the next room you have to get up to turn it off. If it's not loud enough you will go back to sleep.

The best way would have to be without an alarm clock well rested with nothing on the schedule, except morning sex and a cup of coffee ..... oh and I agree with the other person, without a crying baby.
