Senator Dianne Feistein, D-Cal. is questioning the stiff sentences handed out to the two border patrol agents, Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean for their actions involving a drug smuggler on the Mexican border. Here is the link:

She has been given the go-ahead to hold hearings as chairman of her sub-committee. I hope she gets to the bottom of this and reverses this travesty of justice.
As a conservative, I must give her kudos for her efforts thus far in this matter.

I'm also a conservative and have been understanding of the mess our president inherited from previous administrations and the terrorist attacks but in this case, I think he should step up QUICKLY and grant these two complete pardons. We've got to stop this crazy illegal immigration and this is a good place to start. Let our border agents do what they have to do to turn the steady stream of Mexicans around and head them back south.

As an independent who used to be a democrat, what is taking the democrats so long to get on board with freeing these men. The democrats should be ashamed. Months of silence while this embarrassment of justice is allowed to stand.

Then she is absolutely doing the right thing. And the prison system management need to be punished for allowing these two to bet beaten up so badly.

Good for her. The damned if you do/damned if you don't reality in this country is serving to incapacitate those who can like a deer in headlights. Next thing you know we'll be disarming our police and military forces in lieu of logic, reason and the powers of persuasion. Is it any wonder that we aren't more effective?

these guys broke the law. They concealed evidence, and they lied about it. They were convicted and are serving the term prescribed by law. Do some research on this. These guys are not innocent.
