The state median income for a family of 4 in the state of Arkansas is 48,353.00. You're at 50,796.00 for YOURSELF alone I imagine.
Arkansas is small and the standard of living is rather low compared to other states.
Either you have a HUGE family or you are pulling our legs, or you have a HUGE.appetite,
(By the way. States have certain regulations concerning who qualifies for food stamps. One doesn't just tell them that he/she eats a lot. They also consider family size, living expenses, etc. Maybe this guy has 22 kids. )

If you are bringing home over 4 thousand dollars a month and you need food stamps, I would be inclined to say it is your fault. You need to take a course on money management and stop living above your means. There is nowreason why you should need food stamps. If you are making over 50 thousand a year and you need food stamps then YOU have a problem and YOU need to deal with it.

You must be kidding. If you can't live on 50K/yr in Arkansas, then you're doing something very wrong. I was living in Center City Philadelphia (much higher cost of living than Arkansas) and making that money a couple years ago and had no problems making ends meet. I even traveled at least a couple of times each year internationally and still made it all work.

Sounds like it's your fault, pal.

It is your fault, no question... I make about 1/2 that a month and still do fine, and I've never needed government assistance... what the hell are you spending your money on?? Do you have like 10 kids?? That is ridiculous.. you do not need food stamps, you need to learn to budget your money... I cannot believe they even allow you any money... just shows how our government sucks so bad, they give people like you money!! So sad :(

YOUR FAULT!!! Why the H do you need more than that to live??? I make $107 a week, and I can't get State help, they refused. Sell that house, dump the fancy, gas guzzling car...and GET REAL. With that kind of income, what the H makes you think you DESERVE food stamps?

Completely your fault. Either make more money or buy less. That's how us mature people do it.

The fact that you qualify for food stamps is the governments fault. And it's something that should be rectified immediately.

You are obviously living beyond your means. It's time that you realized that the only entity that can run at a deficit and get away with it is the Government. Now , if you can't make a go at it with over $4,000.00 per month, you have serious problems.
