I don't know how to play with the MP3s I already have to make them sound that old, so I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find music that actually IS that old. :P

Is there a university in your area? Do they have a music dept with a listening library? Chances are, they will have some old records. Their policy for who gets to listen to those valuable antiques may be strict, so don't be surprised.
Check out LP collectors; either in used record shops or on-line.
Most recordings from that era are going to be mighty expensive, as they have been superseded by at least three modern inventions: tape recordings, Cds and MP3s.
Happy hunting!
