Thinking about buying a laptop to take to college, denny's, etc. Need input before dropping $$ on one.

The fact that it is portable is obiously the main reason but applies to a few different advantages, Takes up less room where ever it is rather than a desktop. A laptop can be brought out and about,it could become your boombox,a portable dvd player,portable video game console. Oh did I mention the wires......

saves more space, probably uses less electricity, portability is a big thing for me. it lets me lay in bed with my laptop, sit on the couch, use a desk, anywhere.

Electricity builds will be lower and off course if it;s too hot you can always take it to the backyard, if you have a wireless router
