Will Suns be the 2007 NBA Champs?

Id still pick the Mavericks and Spurs ahead of the Suns.

Obviously nobody wants to see the Suns come playoff time, but push come to shove, other teams can slow down the Suns in spurts. I dont know that the Suns can do the same.

Good question. I've been a Suns fan forever, and also a Nash fan... however... he will be back, but it is my fear that STUPID *** D'ANTONI is gonna ruin it again, like he always makes sure to do when they are deep in the playoffs. He does not tell his team when to foul, or when to press, or who to give the ball to. When the pressure is on for the players, it is the job of the coach to manage the clock and remind all of the players what needs to be done before time runs out. That coach needs to go, are you with me?

As for as the final winner... I really can't tell this year... so suns have a CHANCE... but d'antoni's gonna blow it somehow. He always does.

PS. Playoff and regular season basketball are two totally different games, therefore the Mavs I have always believed will never reach the finals. The Spurs were always a sort of favorite, but they are losing chemistry and don't seem to have the same will to win. That said, Nash is a tempo leader, Amare has crazy game and hopefully his game will finally have a chance to develop this year, and I can't wait to see what kind of a post-season player he will be... and Diaw is my main man. So, I take the suns over... detroit/miami in 4. OMG are suns really gonna do it?!?!

They have a great shot as long as Nash is healthy. Contrary to general perception, the Suns are a good defensive team. If you look at the numbers when adjusted for the faster pace, they are in the top ten in the league. And there offense is absolutely special and unique. Nash is a master of keeping his dribble alive, and probing the lane. His constant activity works because of the great reads made by stoudemire and marion on weak side action furthermore, there shooters bell, barbosa, jones are able to make the right cuts off of nash's penetration which foul up traditional defensive rotations forcing teams to choose between wide open threes, layups or forcing Nash to be a shooter.

NO, I don't think so because every year The Suns have all the pieces to win the Championship...but havent yet. I think it will be either The Cleveland Cavaliers, The Miami Heat, or The Dallas Mavericks...but The Suns definitely has a shot.

If everybody stay healthy and somehow play constitant okay defense and overcome Spurs or the Mavericks. Nobody in the east come and beat the Suns during a crucial game in the finals. Suns has to overcome the west and then everything will soon come easy

I think so. It will be Dallas vs. Phoenix in 7 games and Phoenix will win by 5 for the Western Conference Finals, then they'll beat Detroit in 6 games for the Title.

They have a good shot at getting there. They have some tough competition with the mavs, rockets, lakers, and spurs. If they get to the finals they will destroy the east team that they will face.

It's possible but I don't think they'll come out of the west. I think it'll be either Dallas or San Antonio.

If they are ever going to win it this year is their best bet

I'm just not sure they can win it with that run and gun type play

suns will get tp the finals but will lose in 5 games to who you say. the pistons will. they have been on fire since getting webber and they can play defense. DEEEEETROIT BASKETBALL.
