always pluck the way the hair grows..never out or the opposite way..and when you pluck them pull your skin by your eyebrows back a tad so its taught and just a quick jerk back..if you do this its virtually pain free...your eyebrows should start and line up with the inside corner of your eye..too much farther back and it will look awkward..they should end right around the outside corner of your eye..a little longer than that is just fine but try not to make it any shorter..of course the shape and size of your eye matters a bit when shaping but a typical normal shape that works on almost every face is from the start of the brow to the arch is straight and from the arch to the end of the brow its slightly curved...if this doesnt help this site is phenomenal!http://www.goodtobeyou.com/tips.html ..good luck! =)

Look in a mirror. There is a bony curve above each eyelid, and you are supposed to copy it's curve, so it will look natural.
The thickness is for you to decide! I recommend starting out just cleaning up stray hairs and eliminating the unibrow. After you get more comfortable, thin out the ends of your eyebrows. You don't want people to stare at you and go "Oh...I see you're learning to pluck your eyebrows...eheheh...."
And if you mess up, its okay! It'll grow back!!! =D

You should have them done professionally the first time to get them shaped, after that you should pluck out the new growth when they start groing in again. This way you will still have great shape and you wont run the risk of making them uneven by trying to shape them yourself.

The first time it is best to have a professional do them to show you the best way for you. Ask someone who has nice eyebrows who does theirs and then get them done by them. Just don't ever over tweeze because you can look strange and surprised all the time.

Get them waxed by a professional and when they start growing out follow the line that was made. This is a flawless way to keep them trimmed and clean. Never just go picking away at hair on your face.

i get mine waxed and then just pluck them as they start to grow back in. that way they are already shaped, but you have to tweeze every couple of days.

my secret to a good shape is to go out and get them trimmed and waxed and if you like the shape, just follow the same "lines" they started for you...just like "m and m" said
