None, if you are trying to suggest that colleges reject people because of the racial affiliation of a name that is not a correct assumption. Nowadays colleges are trying to become more and more diverse, so someone with a "strange name" may actually have a BETTER shot at being accepted.

I dont know but I think that is a very interesting question. I did read in the book "Freakonomics" that ppl with ethnic names (read black) are passed by for jobs based on name alone in many instances. If you havent read that book, there is some very good information on overly ethnic names and negative results.

From what I have seen, the people deciding whether you get in do not even get to see your name or other 'identifying' information (race, gender)....the exception might be in the practice of "affirmative action" where they are actively trying to get more people of a certain race or gender or from a particular area of the country or world.
