February has been awful for the Knicks. They win one and lose one. One step forward, one step back. No progress made. It happened again tonight. What's going on with this team?! And don't say the Knicks suck, because I know this team is capable of beating almost any team. I know they can contend. This team can beat top contenders, they've proven that. It's just that they can't move forward and be consistent. They need to go on a winning streak, with only 25 games left, I am beginning to lose hope that the Knicks will make the playoffs.

You know, I would like to see a point guard like Mike Bibby in the Knicks, and I'm surprised that the Knicks weren't trying to acquire him, he would be good for them. I like Starbury, but Bibby would really solidify this team, I would also like to see a sharp-shooter like Mike Miller come to the Knicks. Other than a few minor changes, we have some great player full of talent and potential, that need to stay together, and this team will succeed. I think the reason they're losing is because they are a young team, and it takes a while for a young team to become consistent. But they will improve a lot during the next two years. They need time, but this team has got to keep its players and its coach for that to happen. To do otherwise would be to destroy a potential championship team before it even began. So James Dolan needs to keep the faith in this current Knicks team. I sure hope he does.

Sadly to say I'm a Knick fan too and i feel the same way about the Knicks not making the Playoffs, Knicks are great contenders but theirs too much pressure in NY and yes the Knicks do not suck they have great talent that's not being being used in its full potential i really agree with you but their are alot of reasons why the Knicks cant make the Playoffs the Knicks don't lack consistency meaning alot of players will do good one game and do horrible the next, The Knicks as well don't have a great mindset they see winning winning one game makes them feel too good about themselves and overconfidence make them suck like **** to teams who are crappy to begin with, the Knicks wont make the playoffs this year but what the Knicks should do is try to play better basketball for the rest of the season and pray in the back of their minds that some way New Jersey flops in the Playoffs as well during the off-season pray James Dolan keeps Isiah Thomas and make sure they make no significant trades like trading key players like: Stephon Marbury, Jamal Crawford, Quentin Richardson, Eddy Curry, David Lee, Channing Frye, Nate Robinson, and Renaldo Balkman cuz he's young and a versatile player the bottom line is we should focus on playing better basketball and improve physically and mentally as a team and wait for next year

Maybe they are inconsistant. They have too much talent that can cause damage to the opponents but the coach isiah thomas doesnt have a gameplan to use all their talents. Its not his fault he has too much player with high potential that are ready to play. Knicks have to loose at least 3 players like Steve Francis, Quentin Richardson, and Renaldo Balkman . They are good in all but they mess up the flow and chemistry. let marbury, crawford, and curry be your trio. Lee, nate robinson, Jefferies, and Charlie frye be the secondary players. Isiah Thomas wasted a 1st round pick who has barely and probable and most likely to be NBA Stud player. I love the Knicks but kinda disappointed how they finish last year and this year as well.

Because they're not that good. They're too inconsistent and the still don't have the necessary tools needed to be a good team who can make some noise. I don't care how weak the East is teams like the Knicks just aren't good enough to take that leap to a playoff team.

The knicks need a point guard who actually likes to pass the ball. They should have traded jamal crawford or stef to the kings for mike bibby (or any other way to get one of them out of NY and mike out of sac). That way they could have helped both teams out.
