Phosphorylase helps add a phosphate from an inorganic phosphate to an acceptor.

Phosphatase helps remove a phosphate from a donor.

Kinase helps transfer a phosphate from a donor to an acceptor. (in other words, it combines the functionality of a Phosphorylase and a Phosphatase).
