I do not agree with "dane hoy". There is a heaven. About your question, no one really knows for sure (except God, of course). One thing I do know: the Bible says that there will be a new heaven and a new earth. What's an earth without animals? I personally think that all the animals will be on the new earth. (won't it just be great to walk up to animals that aren't afraid of you!!!)

No one has found any evidence of the existence
of a soul, or of heaven or hell. My opinion is that
belief in such things is on a par with belief in the
Tooth Fairy or the Easter Bunny, imaginative fantasy. Asking where a person "goes" when he
dies is like asking where a candle flame goes when you blow out the candle. It doesn't "go"
anywhere, it simply ceases to exist. Human
beings are vastly conceited creatures, however,
and they have been unwilling to accept this idea,
so they have invented all sorts of ways of fooling
themselves into believing it doesn't really happen.

I believe any being that has thoughts, displays emotions and is self-aware has a soul. There's no evidence that seahorses and bacteria have thoughts, display any emotions or are self-aware. Only human beings have the capacity to do evil.

Oh for sure. If you have a dog that you like now, he'll be in heaven too, only he'll have wings and be able to fly too.
