Oh my God...for the last time: Terrorists were able to enter Iraq only after we invaded. And 9/11 had NOTHING to do with Iraq!
So stop implying it does. We are all sick of it.

Intelligent people are sick of your failed attempts at justifying this terrible war. Just stop it.

Yes Nathan, but they are much more so BECAUSE we invaded Iraq. Do you understand now?

When Bill C. was in Office we keep getting atacked by terrorist and yet he did nothing to stop them.
WTC (Oklahoma City Bombing 1993)
USS Cole bombing
US embassy bombings
So what do you think is going to happen when or if we stop the war in Iraq? The terrorist are just going to stop what they are doing and make Peace?
At lest they are doing something when the dem's are just sitting there with no plans.

Im glad as an American you can see what many people in the UK are seeing. I have a friend who was born in Iraq, spending at least half of the year in the country when she visits. On the return of her last visit her account is Iraq is dangerous a place as ever and coming from a Kurdish person I think that is a very strong opinion to take.
Republicans say such a thing because of congused political policy. I'm sure when they were funding Saddam in earlier years that weren't so concerned with his weapons of mass destruction then which managed to wipe out a chunk of Kurdish citizens.
Never mind, the arrogance of people is shocking but what can you do? Point, laugh and congratulate yourself that you are not a sheep.

What makes you think that just by ending this war Terrorist will all just stop what they are doing?
Democrats are just dumb no and if's or buts about it. They tell you that there more terrorist today then they where yesterday. The way I look at it every time a Terrorist blows them self up it's one less Terrorist.
Democrats can't stand to see Bush win this war. That's why they are doing everything in there power to end it now in 2007 then wate a few moths tell 2008. Then again it's still not verry likly a Democrat will win the White Hose in 2008.

HDChackz, brings alot of good points to the table. What did Bill Clinton do when terrprosts attacked us? Nothing... What happen when he did nothing? They attacked us again & angain.
What happen when Terrorists attacked us under Bush? He took action and went to war? The Terrorist then left this Country and went home.. We have not been attacked sence 9/11.
Democrats want to end this war. Then what? Do they have a plan to keep us safe? Or will we keep getting attacked like the Clinton days?
I am all for ending this war and bring our trops home safe. But I feel that we should at lest have a plan put in place first. Something the Democrats don't seem to have.

It's a true enough statement, there are terrorists out there with the dream of hurting America. It's also a true enough statement that most will never get the chance and there are always going to be the very few that succeed. Terrorism will never be defeated, it is a part of humanity. Another truth, it's religious leaders and religion responsible for this wave of terrorism. They think they are good Muslims for blowing themselves up defending their religion and we think we are good Christians for fighting terrorism. It's all so absurd to me I don't understand how these sides seem to disregard all the death and destruction in their quest to be the benign leadership.

Good question and I share your frustration. No matter how many times you explain this to them. No matter how many facts you provide them, they still think Iraq has something to do with "the terrorists". It boggles the mind. At least the average mind of an open minded person.
The obvious answer is that these people have been thoroughly brainwashed. I cannot think of any other reason that explains this.

"Why do so many repubs irritatingly say if we didn't go to Iraq the terrorists would be after us?"
Perhaps the events of 9/11? We were not in Iraq at the time.....

Because we're forcing the fight to occur in the terrorists' back yard, instead of our front yard. Terrorists came to us in a HUGE way on 9/11; by taking the fight to them, we are forcing these terrorists to stay home so they can fight there.
You seem to suggest, in the addition to your query, that Al-Qaeda did not already have training facilities in Iraq. I believe that you are misinformed.

They're just repeating the same mantra that their party has brainwashed them with.
"There is no better way to support those who are fighting in Iraq than to guarantee that no more of them die in the service of political miscalculation"
