In Yahoo!Finance for options chains open interest is expressed to two decimal places. However, fractional options contracts are now allowed. So, why is open interest expressed to two decimal places when I've always seen it as xx.00?

Actually, I meant "fractional contracts are NOT allowed." However, now I don't see zeros any longer. It may have been the way my browser was presenting numeric values.

Totally a stab in the dark here.. but before it was:

##.00 and now it's ##.##, right?

You said that fractional options contracts are now allowed, which means they'd have to show the fractions in the contracts, rather than always putting in "0"....
