knock open the bathroom door and stare at you?
When I was in college, my cat always did that and one of my roommates got so tired of him doing it, she bent down and stared at him peeing in his catbox and said "see, how do you like it?!"

Two of my six cats like to do that (they know they'll get a brushing), and a third likes to come in and use the commode while I'm using the toilet. One of them will hit the door so hard, it flies open!
It's a cat thing; we wouldn't understand.

Maybe it's college. I had a cat that went to the bathroom with anyone who went there. The door wouldn't shut securely at that house. He would sit on the side of the tub and keep me company at bath time. One time he got in the tub and seemed surprised that it was wet.

My cats don't stare at me, but they come in and use the bathroom the same time I am using it. My one cat, Peanut, likes to go into the bathroom, when my husband taking a BM, and sit inside his underwear. Weird, but even weirder, is that my husband allows him to do that.

What a hoot!! My cat does the exact same thing! It doesn't matter how quiet I sneak into the bathroom, he will still know I am in there! Crazy puss!

Didn't you know that cats are the re-incarnate of the Egyptian elite class ? And since we all know how hedonistic they were, I figure they are just filling some unrequited lust left-over...
That or they are looking at the ghost who are looking at you.

Funny, one of my cats did that to me today, she would not leave until I was done, but then I had just come home from work, so I think she just wanted to be in the same room with me. =)

My cat used to do that and my son get mad at her and stared at her when she was peeing but it didn't make her stop!

Mine do it too.... they just like to follow me around the house. They are next to me now!
