Sure you should! If you want to be his friend then be his friend and don't let anyone's opinion of him matter to you. Weird is often simply different, which shows individuality if you ask me. Why would anyone want to be like everybody else when they could be different instead? Different is best! At least he probably likes himself for who he is, or he'd be trying to be just like all the rest of them.

look at it this way... What if u were the one everyone thought was weird, would u want someone to try and be friends with u? I would. Don't let other people make ur friend choices. This guy might turn out to be the best friend ever.

Yea but you just said that everuone thinks he is cool then you said everyone thinks he is weird, well whatever i think your asking should you be with someone who everyone thinks is weird well here is my advice to that : You should give him a shot and be his friend you shouldn't judge people on what others say about them.

Who cares what anyone says. It's what you think that matters in this case. If you want to be his friend, then get to it. If you don't want to be his friend, then leave the dude alone. Don't pay attention to what others say about him. If he's gonna be your friend, it shouldn't matter to you if everyone thinks he's the greatest or the worst.

i think you should. you never know he could be the nicest guy you've ever met. sometimes you just have to give people a chance. and since when is being weird a bad thing

yes one of my best friends is one one of the weirdest guys in my school. almost everyone thinks hes gay but i just tell people that its not true
