I am going to college next year and I am not sure which computer would be best to buy. I want to be able to burn CD DVDs alot of space for alot of music and i need something that can be easily fixed and is reliable because i not take the best care of stuff

Well for the uses that you are listing it sounds more along the lines of what a desktop would be better at doing. But overall I would say not getting a apple because apples are more along the lines of producing music. If IBM has some laptops you would go with those they would be good but if all else fails dell is not to bad.

I have the Sony VAIO with the 11.1 inch screen. This things rocks because it it ultra light (2.8 lbs). And has a gazillion hours of battery life. Its the first laptop I've truly "taken everywhere with me".

my friend bought sony vaio, 14 inch wide screen, with camera. that is a good laptop. because it stable. until now there is no problem with the laptop.
