That's a good question. I felt more alone when I had a family, if you could call it that. Now I am alone, almost completely, but I actually have grown to prefer it most of the time. Sometimes I think, what if I met that special someone. But I think this is mostly wishful thinking and the what ifs that pop up from time to time, usually on a monthly basis if you know what I mean. For the most part, this is better. Maybe because of YA, lol.

People can feel loneliness even if they are in a marriage or long term relationship. Being able to enjoy your alone time is a strength that all people should strive for, being alone and discovering things about yourself is very uplifting and rewarding. You will feel stronger, more independent and you will be able to take care of yourself, thus becoming a better person and a better companion when someone does come into your life. Being alone doesn't mean you have to be lonely, but understanding your loneliness is a building block to being a well rounded individual.

Yes, all the time it can be a sign of depression or just not getting along with them that much as in my family & my case.
Sometimes for me it's hormonal, when I feel the worst.
Hope you feel better, if you are spiritual Pray & ask G-D to take your lonliness away and replace it with more positive feelings, but most of all don't stay in the house get fresh air if at all possible & get out go somewhere to take your mind of of it.

Sure. Those are the times that I lay on my bed, stare at the ceiling and do some soul searching. I think there are times that our minds need to escape, we just don't understand it and that is when we feel alone. There is something that drives each one of us to find that moment to explore ones inner self and find answers to questions that we sometimes don't even know we need to ask. Hope that makes sense, just want you to know it is normal to feel that lonliness, it's what you do with the time that matters.

I think that everyone has that lonely feeling. The best think to do is think of when you feel lonely and what makes that way and try to do things differently. I have a lot of times when I feel lonely. Im still working through it trying to do things differently. Good luck to you.

In my first marriage yes i did but in this marriage i dont at all. I feel very complete and happy now with my husband and children that God has blessed my life with. Having God in my life makes me happy too and helps with feelings of loneliness.

Yes, I do. I always catch myself though and ask myself what is going on? I have become too self absorbed. My children need me to give them love and support. I get busy looking for something i can do to make them feel loved and special....and it cures my lonliness every time.
