Hey. Do you think downloading moviez, songs, games and programs, using bitorrent or frostwire is wrong or right?

All these industries make enough money to give their stars a limo and a red carpet, so if they are so rich why should people pay for films or music? Just a thought, not encouraging piracy.

We as consumers choose whatever its right for us. In this case, we want something that is as cheap as possible. thus, nothing wrong with downloading these files.

They had done some research on the effect of free stuff and some research actually think that we encourage people to buy the original., cause we had acesse to the song or movie and can recommend it if its good.

Would you still agree if it was one of YOUR programs or works that you had hoped to make money from and it was being pirated?

Sure, SOME makers are making a bundle, but most software writers, musicians, etc. are not doing a whole lot better than you and I are.

I think the copyright laws need to be modified for the digital age, but I would not try to suggest that ripping them off because we can pretend that some of them are rich is in any way ethical.

i think it is just one of those "dont overuse it" situations
i think it should be a napster-type thing where you pay for a membership per month
then it wouldnt be piracy or anything because downloading for free IS stealing but using things like iTunes is very costly
