How about this on 06/06/2007 we protest the war, large salaries for CEO's, health care and higher gas. get as many people as possible not go to work, not buy anything, don't go anywhere. Stay home and just take a day off. Maybe stage some protests in larger cities like NYC, DC, and LA

What do you think!!!!

A one-day strike wouldn't hurt. And demonstrations in the steets. The American people were able to change things in the 60's, because they were determined. Why not now? Of course, for some it's more comfortable just to go on with their jobs, with their respectability, and just let things happen. But what will you tell your grandkids? That you were not a part of making the change? (this last is adressed to the lady who was concerned about car and home, etc.)

Only a nation wide sit down strike will get the attention of those who it is aimed at. There will be many who will go to work regardless or go out and buy what not. What they don't realize is the one day of not working or buying is peamuts compared to what is being wasted everyday by this out of control government. We cannot get a government with that mentality to control itself. It is drunk on the wine of power and influence and on the blood of those who toil and die penniless because of CEO's who suck the blood out of companies and spend a few years in a resort like jail. Not to mention the billions the Iraq war is costing the taxpayers and lining the pockets of those in control.

It sucks man and there are millions of people who will tell you it won't work and it won't work BECAUSE of people like them......

Ok that's stupid. Sit at home and let your house, your car and everything else you owe money on be taken away. Ya know since you can't pay your bills. And protesting the war is stupid... all it does is annoy people, it never gets anything done. And while your sitting at home... the rest of us are out in the world living our lives and working hard.
