Please only list a few reasons even though it may be difficult. I personally don't have a favorite since I love them all!!

i personally like sakura, cos if you think about it, she would be a friend if you knew her lol, the whole sasuke thing is kinda irritating though, but i think she's my fav .
she isn't the best fighter by far, and the rivalry between her and ino is really stupid, but i guess the only reason the writers put that in there, is for a reason for her to be a ninja, you know..it's her whole ninja way thing.
and i want her hair... xxx

Personally, i like Gaara..at first i see him as a real psyco who only know how to kill and hate. But as the story progress, we all knew about his past life, how he grew up with his dad kept on sending assasins after him, how he survives all those years alone in the dark (not to mentioned that there's also a 1-tailed monster inside of him, waiting to control him at all cozt..), plus how he learn to be so independant that he doesn't require any help from his family(sorry for the puppet master and the huge-fan Lady, haha..) whenever he's in trouble fighting in and out of the field. I really LOVES the way he controls all the sands around him to assist him in his fights,defending.attacking, and eventually saving other peoples lives as well (see the finale part of part 1 of Naruto and the begining of Part 2 as well and you'll know what i'm talking about..) Actually i find that he has a lot of similiarity to my own experience. which is why i became fond of him eventhough he ain't the hero of the show (Gome Naruto,haha..). He really has a heart of gold and the strenght of a thousand armies, Strong yet unrecongnized.. I SaLuTe YoU Man, Way to Go Gaara...

Well since you want a few reasons
basically I love them all( except for sakura) no offence sakura fans)
HInata - She rocks! shes very much like me shy, determind and is very kind, she's my favorite girl characters and i can go on forever bout her but you said a few.
sasuke - Hes just so awesome! I luv his attitude and how he acts, he was really cute when he was a kid. He is a very hot guy for an anime character! anyway if your really connected you can feel like you can understand him.
Gaara - hes cool! he looks good and well his past was sad he just needs someone to be there for him.
I have many more but you said a few.

p.s. y favorite couple is naruhina and sasuhina.

I like Rock Lee. Although you look at him and think he can't be a good fighter, that's a misconception( he did kick Saske's butt that time). He's a great fighter! Even though he only knows tyjitsu. Plus I guess I just like weirdos for some reason:) Next favourite is Gara. Granted he gets his enjoyment from killing people, but I just want to feel sorry for him you know. He never asked for his father to put some demon in him, or for his mother to die. Plus he's kind of cute by my weirdo criteria.

a million. Sabaku no Gaara. He. Is. remarkable. Kazekage of Sunagakure, former vessel of Shukaku. completely lovable and warm. 2. Uchiha Itachi. A mass murderer and exciting antagonist. returned, particularly warm and mysteriously so. 3. Hyuuga Neji. remarkable Byakugan skills. The continuously- cool posture and disdainful sheet- white eyes... 4. Tobi? don't be responsive to plenty approximately him, different than he's totally HILARIOUS! returned, this is in simple terms my opinion.

OH MY GOSH HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT YOU HATE NARUTO!!! i really love all the of the characters but if i had to choose...probably Kakashi (i loved when in episode 26/27 he said, well maybe i could dance.), Naruto (he's hilarious with his whole "sexy" jutsu), Inner Sakura (she's soo much different than Sakura!), Gaara (HE'S COOL!!), and the group of 3 kids..the leader of the group is the Hokage's grandchild..i think his name is...nope i lost it..

Itachi Uchiha

* He's just so strong...
* His red eyes are just so cool..
* I cannot stand Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke(especially Sasuke), Kakashi, Konohamaru and his "friends" actually i really hate almost every character once i think about it... except itachi of course!!!!!!

My favorite Naruto character is.. uh.. nobody. I hate Naruto. It is such a nerdy and childish cartoon. There is this one girl from my school that actually wears a Naruto headband to school. Considering I am in highschool!

My favorite character is Yugito. Why? She's the only girl on the show that can actually fight, even though she dies. And she also has Nibi no Nekomato sealed in her!
