what do u mean by three times?
do u mean like it's 3 days for the first time then stops for a day or two and then it keeps coming again and stops for a day or two and comes again? cus if it is like that, it might be because of stress or something. But if it's like 7 days for the 1st time this month, then another 7 days for the 2nd time, then the 3rd time 1 days, there might be somthing wrong with her body. U should tell her go see a doctor just in case.

It could be a hormonal imbalance which is common for young and middle-aged women. Sometimes doctors use birth control pills to regulate periods and sometimes Provera pills are given the first 5 days of the period's onset to slow it down and regulate it. For a woman in her 50's or older, it is considered cancer until ruled out. I hope she gets better soon.

This happened to me for two years and I didn't go to the doctor. When I finally went to the doctor they said they couldn't find a reason but they put me on birth control. Tell her to see a doctor!

She should go to the Dr. But, if she's younger, its normal for women to have their period at different times. But, if its heavier and usually it isn't normal to have it three times per month, she should go to her doctor, they'll probably put her on birth control to regulate her.

I don't know how old you and you friend are, but if under 18, pelase go to her mom on this asap, to get a dr. appt. to find out what is going on. If over 18, do this yourself, or her herself. Take care.

she needs to see a doctor right away, it could be a medication she's taking or there could be something medically wrong with her. if she isn't comfortable going to her doctor, she can also go to planned parenthood.
