Well, I wouldn't say "retarded," but yes, being on here has caused me to: 1) raise my eyebrows VERY high; 2) gasp!; 3) shake my head; or 4) loudly proclaim "WHAT?!?!" :-)
What shocks me the most is how terribly illiterate people are, and how many people are desperate for suggestions on how to get skinny fast. It makes me sad.
Even so, I'm happy to participate in the exchange and it's a good communications forum for people who truly need an answer/have an answer.

Yes, I feel that way, too. I am used to being around people who are highly educated and socially progressive. Then I came on here and found out many people are highly prejudiced and living in the bronze age. I was once very optimistic about humanity, but I am not anymore.. I hate to say that, but that is how I truly feel now.
