okay like antiques require more upkeep and ussually have really horrible gas mileage and new cars are good but can be a lot more expensive, i would recomend a new car over an antique. and plus new cars would probably go faster and have more ponys under the hood.

New cars lose value fast! They start to drop in value as soon as you drive them off the lot. If you can afford it, buy a new one, otherwise, let someone else take the hit. If you buy an antique car have it checked out by a professional. Hopefully you can afford a new car & you'll buy something made in the USA which helps OUR economy. I would stay away from Dodge products. I owned 3 in the past & they ALL had fires in the wire loom which SUCKED to say the least! My all time favorite classic car, in case you want to know is the 1969 Chevy Impala, 2 door, with a 396 big block from the factory.

Antique car are expensive and require costly, time consuming repairs. Sometimes the parts must be custom made. And the bodies of these car may contain loads of body fillers. Where as a new car comes with a warranty and parts are easier to come by.
