Press center button+ menu for 6-8 secs. You'll see iPod logo and it'll operate again.

Oh that happens to me alllllllll the time i am so glad to help you
you have to eject it outta ur computer before u unplug it next time, anywho, leave it on all night until it runs outta battery, then you plug it in again,it will unfreese,
I PROMISE THIS WORKS!

restart it by holding down the middle button until it turns off...if that doesnt do the trick...try seeing if the company will send u another one

Let the battery totally die down. Then charge it. It should work fine then.
