I recently had bad grades which dropped me out of some extra-cirricular activities. I SERIOUSLY NEED GRADE HELP. Could somebody PLEASE give me good school tips that can help my grades?

When you're in class pay attention. Don't let thoughts of other things come into your mind and don't mess around or talk to your friends in class. Make this a habit. Take copious notes, then review your notes at night before you go to bed, then again over the weekend. It only takes a few minutes to review and you'd be surprised how much this double review will help your memory. Even the writing down will really help your memory.
Do the assigned reading when you are supposed to, not all at the last minute before the exams. Highlight the important points, review the highlighted pointed a day later, then a week later, this will pretty much get them into your memory.
If you follow the above, your work before an exam will be reviewing your notes and reviewing your highlighted points from your reading. This will cement them even further into your memory - these are study tecniques from a college course I took years ago, I've used them ever since and they've really helped.

Try to look at school and exams the way you'd look at a computer game. There are tasks you have to do and tecniques or ways you can do things that will give you the best results. Explore what those are and find what works best for you.
A couple years ago I was working at a job that sometimes bored me (but was sometimes super fun). I was also playing a lot of different computer games. Then I realized one day when I was playing cake mania that a number of the games I was playing were like simulated jobs! I decided it was stupid to play those games because it was like putting myself in a job without getting paid. But I missed the games and had a perspective shift, I thought rather than think of the game as a job, I'd think of the job as a game. I went to work every day planning to do my tasks and assignments as well and effeciently as I could. I coudln't believe how much different this made my feelings about the boring parts of my job. If I made every effort to do my very best it was so much more satisfying and I did better work. You could apply the same attitude toward school.
Best wishes!!

Talk to your teacher and let him or her know you are interested in bringing up your grades and want their help. This alone will help bring up your grades, but not all by itself. Then you need to pay close attention in class and ask questions if you don't understand something. And always do your homework, all of it, and have it done on time. If you are out sick, as soon as you get back to school, ask the teacher for make up work to do for the time you were out. If you do these things, your grades should come up. Also, if you need extra help, don't be afraid to ask the teacher for help. That is what they are there for and most of them really want you to get good grades too. Keep your work in a notebook binder so it stays neat and be as neat with your work as you can be. Good luck! With a little effort from you, your problem will be solved soon. Happy studies!

ok, first u gotta take accurate notes that u will b able to study with when it comes to a test. take time doing ur h.w. and dont keep ur mind on something else besides that subject. when studying for a test, start from that day u no about it. a little each day is better than procrastiating on the last minute. make this ur new years resolution-inproving grades throughout school. best wishes on inproving your grades!
