My Cherry tree was a really great fruit barer, but last year, the main trunk died and about 4 new ones grew up from the root. They are now too 10ft each. Should I cut the old trunk out or what. Please help me. Thanks

The shoots are probably "suckers" from the rootstock, nearly all fruit trees are grafted to a stock. You could try to locate the graft on the stem,if the growth is above it then you may be ok.If the growth is below then you will probably have to remove your tree.

You need to spray your cherry tree. Sounds like you have borers. Look for small holes near the base of the trunk.
