Job decision?

Question

I am having problems picking between jobs that I want to do.

(1) State Trooper: I like speed, crime, I have broken most of the laws and know them (should give me an advantage) and I grew up doing drugs & alchol and Im lucky I never killed myself at some of the things I did. So pretty much what it boils down to with this one is, I wanna help prevent what happened to me happen to someone else by becoming a law officer and doing what I can on the streets!

(2) EMT & Paramedic: Well this & whats above should pretty much spell it out for ya. I went thru alot and now I wanna help others! Weather it be thru law enforcement or pulling someone from under a car, etc...

So my question is, if you were in my position, what would you do? Not what you think I should do! What would you do?

I would choose State Trooper. I have a family member who is a state trooper and he appears to like his job a lot. Plus, it seems kind of cool to drive around and have a bit of solitude during the day. I know you could see carnage in both, but i think a trooper would see a bit less.

it seem as if u already made ur pick. Why did u post up State trooper first? I am a comm. studies major student... and just from looking at what u have... if i was u... i would go for the state trooper... U put that one first over the other one and it seem as if u explained more why u would want the state trooper over the other! muah bye

I would be the state trooper. I'm afraid if I lost someone while they were in my care as a EMT, I wouldn't be able to emotionally handle it.

Emt/Paramedic seems like you know how bad things can get for a person. Me if i was in ur position thats what I would do.
