There could be some underlying cause such that you do not remember, i.e. something that happened to you as a child, were you lost or could you not find your parents, or were you afraid of something. Ask your parents if you were traumatized or frightened about something as an young child.
I take it you are young, after you have kids, you will enjoy moments alone believe me.
Hey I 50 years old and afraid of the dark, and don't know why.

alonophobia, no j/k, its the fear of abandonment, i dont have that but i'm scared of being in a place that i dont see any live human being, my printer broke and i had to redirect all my printing in the 6th floor, it was a closed unit, i went up there to get my prints and there was a call light on..but no one was there.and on my way down, the elevator door wont open right away, it was so creepy my heart rate went up by 20 , i think....

Of course not! When you are alone you can sort things in your life and formulate solutions.
